Software Engineering Internship – Gigafactory Berlin

About the role

Join the Quality Data Lab at Tesla's Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg as a Software Engineering Intern. You will support day‑to‑day data science and analytics activities, gaining hands‑on experience with dashboards, ETL pipelines, and code deployment in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining ETL pipelines and data‑driven solutions.
• Develop and enhance dashboards and visualisations for internal stakeholders.
• Prepare presentations and workshop materials to communicate findings.
• Collaborate with team members on complex coding and problem‑solving tasks.
• Support the design, development, and deployment of data‑centric applications.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a BSc/MSc program in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to refine problem statements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, humble, and able to work on multiple tasks in a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Python.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Experience with JavaScript.
• Familiarity with data visualisation libraries such as Dash, Plotly, Matplotlib, or Panel.
