Solution Architect ECAD (m/f/d)

About the role

As a Solution Architect for ECAD and PLM systems at XPLM Solution Inc, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers, translating engineering and business requirements into robust integration concepts. You will design, coordinate, and oversee the implementation of integration solutions that align with existing IT landscapes and architectural standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design customized integration solutions between ECAD and PLM systems, focusing on scalability, maintainability and performance.
• Define interfaces, coordinate technical implementation teams, and ensure adherence to architectural principles and quality standards.
• Lead the solution through its full lifecycle—from requirements analysis to implementation, testing, deployment and commissioning.
• Provide technical project responsibility, conduct architecture reviews, and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Serve as the primary contact for integrating solutions into existing systems, offering guidance, qualification, testing and remote or on‑site support.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a comparable technical field.
• Several years of experience with PLM systems such as Siemens Teamcenter or Oracle Agile.
• Several years of experience with ECAD tools like Altium Designer, Siemens Xpedition/PADS, Cadence OrCAD, Aucotec Engineering Base or EPLAN Electric P8.
• Strong technical understanding of system integration and architecture.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
