Specialist External Reporting (m/f/d)

About the role

As a Specialist External Reporting you will support BASF Agricultural Solutions in preparing the Group’s external financial reports, including annual and interim statements, the management report and regulatory filings. You will ensure that all reporting outputs are accurate, IFRS‑compliant and audit‑ready.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and publish external financial statements and management reports.
• Develop notes and disclosures, perform consistency checks and review content for alignment with consolidated figures.
• Apply group accounting policies and IFRS interpretations across all external reporting components.
• Translate technical accounting topics into clear disclosures for business combinations, impairments, provisions and equity‑related matters.
• Collaborate with external auditors and internal teams (Consolidation, Accounting, Legal, Tax, Treasury, ESG, Investor Relations) to ensure consistent messaging and high‑quality deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in external reporting, audit or a similar role, preferably in an IFRS environment.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in IFRS‑based reporting and end‑to‑end reporting processes.
• Good understanding of group accounting policies, IFRS interpretations and disclosure tools.
• Demonstrated digital and AI focus with the ability to leverage technology in reporting.
