Specialist Procurement – Direct Materials & Product Transfers

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist Procurement to join our sourcing team at the Unterschleißheim site. You will be responsible for strategic and operational sourcing activities that support product transfers, focusing on direct materials and, where applicable, CAPEX/OPEX procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end procurement for product transfers, including supplier selection, transfer, and development.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate prices, contracts and service level agreements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers and oversee order execution.
• Initiate and follow up on procurement‑related change‑control processes.
• Handle deviations, complaints and claim management in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives through cross‑functional collaboration.
• Execute procurement transactions in SAP, maintain master data, and use ARIBA for sourcing activities.
• Ensure data quality and compliance in internal systems such as SharePoint.
• Collaborate with global procurement functions and support local projects.
• Provide procurement KPIs and analysis for stakeholders.
• Support quality‑assurance processes, including change control and supplier complaint handling.
• Conduct market analysis and identify new suppliers to secure supply continuity.

Required profile

• University degree in business administration, engineering, chemistry or a related field.
• Several years of procurement experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or another regulated industry.
• Strong commercial and administrative knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Ability to work independently, analytically and in project teams.
