Specialist Purchasing – Procurement & Subcontracting

About the role

As a Specialist Purchasing you will join the Procurement & Subcontracting team and support project procurement activities. You will ensure that purchasing processes are efficient, compliant, and that data quality in our systems remains high.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate purchase requisitions for completeness, accuracy and compliance.
• Act as the main interface to suppliers for onboarding and master‑data management.
• Maintain accurate procurement master data across ERP systems, serving as the data steward.
• Prepare and issue RFQs to pre‑qualified suppliers using standard templates.
• Collect, document and structure supplier quotations, ensuring audit‑ready records.
• Support commercial evaluations by preparing bid comparisons and highlighting deviations.
• Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring alignment with scope, pricing and contractual terms.
• Track order progress, update delivery status and maintain documentation for invoice verification and PO close‑out.

Required profile

• Technical or business degree or comparable training.
• At least 2 years of purchasing experience, preferably in EPC or industrial environments.
• Fluent German (written and spoken) and good English skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility, communication skills and assertiveness.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of SAP or a comparable ERP system.
