Staff Product Manager – Product Discovery Engine

About the role

Constructor is looking for a systems‑minded Staff Product Manager to own and evolve its Product Discovery Engine, the core of search and discovery for the world’s largest retailers. You will be responsible for raising discovery quality and driving measurable business outcomes such as conversion, revenue per visit, and GMV.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for Search Quality, delivering measurable relevance improvements.
• Define the multi‑quarter vision for the entire Product Discovery Engine chapter, aligning recall, ranking, query understanding and personalization.
• Translate state‑of‑the‑art ML/IR research into production wins, including LLM‑assisted capabilities.
• Build metrics, evaluation frameworks and tooling to make discovery quality measurable and explainable.
• Lead incident investigation, design systemic fixes and expand leadership across ML Recall, ML Infra and related teams.

Required profile

• 8+ years of product management experience in search, discovery, ML or NLP‑heavy products, with senior or staff‑level responsibility.
• Proven track record of moving business metrics (conversion, revenue, GMV) at scale.
• Deep understanding of the end‑to‑end search pipeline from query interpretation to personalization.
• Strong measurement‑first mindset tying quality investments to business outcomes.
• Excellent cross‑functional leadership and ability to operate in ambiguous environments.
