Strategic Demand Capacity Planner – 24‑Month Fixed‑Term

About the role

As a Strategic Demand Capacity Planner you will align long‑term European market demand with HelloFresh’s global supplier, production and logistics networks. Reporting to the Associate Director of Strategic Planning, you will translate commercial ambitions into actionable capacity strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Forecasting team in creating long‑term forecasts for strategic decisions.
• Conduct industry research on supplier, logistics and digital planning tool trends.
• Analyze and monitor capacity utilisation across country clusters to enable proactive risk management.
• Assist in scenario planning and ad‑hoc simulations for demand‑driven network adjustments.
• Translate forecasted demand into procurement and production plans, making tactical decisions to avoid financial waste.
• Promote the HelloFresh Planning Target Operating Model and deploy an Advanced Planning Tool.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience in a similar strategic planning role.
• University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience at the intersection of demand and supply, consulting background considered an advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset with data‑driven decision making.
• Interest in senior stakeholder management and cross‑functional problem solving.
• Effective communication in English; German is a plus.
