Strategic Procurement Manager – Berlin

About the role

AUTO1 Group, Europe’s leading digital automotive platform, is looking for a Strategic Procurement Manager based in Berlin. You will design, implement and own procurement processes that drive profitable growth across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing boards with internal departments and align on sourcing strategies.
• Own the end‑to‑end Source‑to‑Pay process for the technology category, from planning to payment, including supplier selection, tendering and negotiations.
• Prepare guidelines, benchmark best practices and evaluate savings potential at the EU level.
• Create and execute a category roadmap and improve payment‑term structures.
• Manage contracts, maintain contract overviews and plan renewals.
• Coordinate multiple internal stakeholders across various hierarchy levels.
• Drive collaboration and partnership with vendors.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, preferably with experience in implementing new processes and category management.
• Experience in the technology category (IT software, hosting, telephony).
• Completed studies, preferably a master’s degree.
• In‑depth knowledge of global procurement and category management.
• Proven ability to build strategies and lead business‑improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical thinking with advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; German is a plus.
