Structural Design Engineer – Mechanical & Structural Systems

About the role

We are looking for a Structural Design Engineer to apply mechanical and structural engineering principles to lightweight architecture systems. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, ensure design quality, and support international projects within a dynamic, flat‑hierarchy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyse and optimise mechanical and structural systems for industrial applications.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with standards.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations, finite‑element analyses and simulations.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Document design changes, project progress and quality control activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–8 years of experience in mechanical and structural engineering, preferably in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Proven project‑leadership experience with cross‑functional teams.
• Good command of English; German is a plus for supplier liaison.

• ANSYS
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other simulation tools
• Knowledge of ISO, ASME and related industry standards
