Studio Technician (part‑time)

About the role

BEAT81 is opening its first studio in Stuttgart and needs a hands‑on Studio Technician to keep the space, equipment and technology in perfect condition. This part‑time, on‑site role combines technical support, logistics and minor maintenance to ensure a seamless experience for members and coaches.

Key responsibilities

• Perform weekly maintenance and cleaning of cardio machines, heart‑rate sensors and related equipment, including battery replacement and functionality checks.
• Handle minor repairs such as wall work, small fixes and general technical upkeep.
• Conduct technical checks like HVAC filter cleaning, studio floor inspections and other routine inspections.
• Manage deliveries, restock consumables and keep storage areas organized.
• Support studio projects, renovations and installations as the studio evolves.
• Coordinate with external partners – janitors, technicians and the landlord – to resolve issues promptly.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on technical or handyman experience with a passion for fixing things.
• Reliable, independent work style and ability to spot issues before they affect operations.
• Basic comfort with technology, especially sensors and simple troubleshooting.
• Fluent German for local coordination; English is a plus.
• Flexible availability for a part‑time schedule in Stuttgart.
