Substitute Secondary School Teacher (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking an adaptable and inspiring Substitute Teacher for our Secondary School in Berlin. The role is full‑time and covers a period of approximately 6‑12 months, starting as soon as possible. You will join an international community of educators dedicated to delivering high‑quality, values‑based education.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver organized, stimulating, and attractive lessons aligned with the IB and IGCSE curricula.
• Promote intercultural understanding and encourage independent learning.
• Facilitate teamwork and collaborative learning among students.
• Assess student progress using diverse methods and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate student performance effectively to parents and colleagues.
• Maintain cooperative professional relationships within the school community.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education with official secondary teaching certification.
• Experience with IGCSE and IB curricula is preferred.
• Ability to teach Ethics or another secondary subject is a plus.
• Excellent English language skills.
