Supplier Development Manager – Hamburg

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Supplier Development Manager to support the supplier management team at its largest civil aircraft production site in Hamburg. You will work on cross‑commodity and cross‑programme projects, ensuring the continuity of internal production flow and contributing to critical missions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage crisis and recovery actions at Airbus suppliers to protect internal production and meet delivery targets.
• Apply appropriate methodologies to fulfil Airbus supplier requirements and end‑to‑end supply‑chain development.
• Lead supplier capacity and capability assessments for ramp‑up readiness.
• Initiate and lead supplier development missions using lean tools and techniques on‑site.
• Build trust with supplier leadership, diagnose process weaknesses and deliver immediate solutions.
• Communicate progress and results to senior executives internally and externally.

Required profile

• Extensive industrial knowledge and experience in supplier development or production engineering.
• Proven ability to work in a multinational environment and manage complex projects.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with senior management.
