Surveyor / Assistant Surveyor (m/f/d) – Fixed-Term in Stuttgart

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Surveyor or Assistant Surveyor to join our team on a major substation project in Stuttgart. This fixed‑term role (2 months) offers hands‑on experience alongside seasoned professionals in a live construction environment.

Key responsibilities

• Attend daily health & safety briefings and toolbox talks.
• Communicate health & safety instructions in English to site personnel.
• Assist field surveyors with daily surveying tasks on the substation site.
• Support collection, recording, and documentation of survey data.
• Set up, operate, and maintain surveying equipment such as GPS/GNSS receivers, total stations, and laser scanners.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver accurate surveying outcomes.
• Perform any additional duties required by the business.

Required profile

• Fluent German with strong English (and optionally Polish) communication skills.
• Interest in surveying, construction, infrastructure, or geospatial technologies.
• Willingness to work on‑site Monday to Thursday and travel to project locations as needed.
• Ability to follow health & safety protocols and work safely.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
• Full legal right to work in Germany.
