Sustainability Manager – Stakeholder Engagement

About the role

The Sustainability Manager will lead stakeholder engagement, supply‑chain sustainability and community investment initiatives across multiple regions. Working within a global sustainability team, the role partners with internal functions and external partners to drive resource efficiency, accurate data collection and cost‑saving opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Engage external stakeholders—including customers, industry associations and government entities—on sustainability topics.
• Advise internal teams on community engagement initiatives that align with business and sustainability objectives.
• Support public affairs by monitoring industry benchmarks, regulatory developments and government sustainability programs.
• Conduct global supply‑chain site audits, enforce the ATC Vendor Code of Conduct and deliver external training and compliance monitoring.
• Manage complex, multi‑market sustainability projects, ensuring on‑time delivery, budget adherence and measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate with consultants, NGOs and service providers supporting sustainability programs.
• Assist commercial negotiations and engage policymakers on sustainability‑related issues.
• Research and support energy‑efficiency, green material and innovative technology initiatives to reduce operating costs and greenhouse‑gas emissions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Six or more years of experience in sustainability or environmental matters.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to interact confidently with all management levels and present publicly.
• Exceptional organization, planning and project‑management capabilities.
• Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively.
