Talent Acquisition Manager – Robotics/Tech/UAV

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join a fast‑growing UAV and robotics scale‑up in Munich. You will lead the recruitment strategy for highly technical roles across autonomous flight, robotics, defence and aerospace, positioning the company as an employer of choice in a competitive market.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute proactive sourcing strategies to attract the top 1% of candidates.
• Build and nurture talent pipelines through universities, clubs, industry events and niche networks.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and streamline interview processes.
• Develop and promote the employer brand to showcase the company’s mission, vision and growth potential.
• Maintain accurate recruitment metrics and continuously improve hiring workflows.

Required profile

• Strong background in technical recruiting, preferably in start‑ups, defence, aerospace or robotics.
• Proven ability to work in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments and solve problems hands‑on.
• Excellent German language skills and comfort operating in a German‑speaking workplace.
• Experience influencing hiring managers and educating them on best‑practice interview techniques.

Required skills

• Deep sourcing expertise on LinkedIn and other proactive channels.
• Familiarity with recruitment platforms such as Ashby.
• Ability to build and manage talent pipelines for hardware and software engineering roles.
