Tax Advisor – German Tax Law & Tech Integration

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with German professional standards (StBerG, BOStB) and identify opportunities for modernisation.
• Contribute to operational strategy for scaling advisory capacity, leveraging software and AI without compromising quality.
• Support and guide internal tax experts to maintain efficient case processing and high operational standards.
• Shape and coordinate the network of internal and external tax advisors, guaranteeing certified support for every user.
• Advise on supply‑side optimisation to attract, retain, and empower top tax advisors in Germany.
• Improve unit economics and operational excellence across internal operations and the advisory network.
• Act as primary stakeholder for Product and Engineering teams, translating complex tax services into scalable software requirements.
• Champion automation of manual workflows, using AI to create a “bionic” experience that lets advisors focus on high‑value advice.

Required profile

• Successfully passed the German Tax Advisor exam.
• Proven experience managing teams, P&Ls, or complex operational projects.
• Deep understanding of the German tax system, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
• Technology‑focused mindset, viewing tech as an enabler.
• Ability to build high‑performing teams through trust and clear communication.
• Motivation to work in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment rather than a traditional firm.

Required skills

• AI (experience with artificial‑intelligence tools or concepts)
