Tax Manager – EMEA Consumer (Germany)

About the role

Amazon EU is looking for a Tax Manager with a German Tax Certification to support its European consumer business. The role is based in Germany, with hiring possible in Munich or Berlin, and involves acting as a trusted tax adviser across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and Tax Country Managers to provide ongoing tax support to Amazon businesses.
• Ensure business activities align with the group’s European legal and operational structure.
• Analyze the impact of tax legislation on operations and communicate findings to tax and non‑tax audiences.
• Design, implement and maintain tax processes that manage and mitigate tax risks.
• Monitor developments in tax legislation across different jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in a large public accounting firm or multinational corporate tax department.
• Bachelor’s degree and German Tax Certification (Stuerberater).
• Minimum 7 years of international income‑tax experience.
