Tax Manager – EMEA Consumer

About the role

Amazon EU is looking for a Tax Manager to support its European consumer business. The role will be based in either Munich or Berlin and requires a German tax certification (Stuerberater) to advise multiple internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with tax country owners and business units across the group to provide ongoing tax support.
• Analyze the impact of tax legislation on business operations and communicate findings to tax and non‑tax stakeholders.
• Design, implement and maintain tax processes that manage and mitigate tax risks.
• Monitor developments in tax legislation across relevant jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in a large public accounting firm or multinational corporate tax department.
• Bachelor’s degree and German Tax Certification (Stuerberater).
• Minimum 7 years of international income‑tax experience.

Required skills

• VBA programming.
• Python.
• SQL or other database languages.
• Familiarity with AI tools.
