Tax Manager – Product Tax for Spanish Market

About the role

Trade Republic is seeking a Tax Manager to lead product‑tax matters for the Spanish market. You will act as the primary tax contact for all financial products, ensuring compliance and driving tax‑related product enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product and Growth teams to integrate tax considerations into new financial products.
• Serve as the subject‑matter expert on Spanish tax issues across securities, crypto, current accounts, and cards.
• Drive tax product changes from frontend to backend, ensuring seamless implementation.
• Maintain compliance with local tax reporting obligations for customers and authorities.
• Coordinate with external partners such as financial institutions, service providers, and tax advisors.
• Analyze current and upcoming tax legislation and assess its impact on Trade Republic’s business, leading necessary implementations.

Required profile

• Strong professional tax background; capital‑markets tax expertise not required.
• Experience in financial services or banking is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, reliable, and able to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder collaboration.
• Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English.
