Team Lead Internal and External Communications

About the role

As Team Lead Internal and External Communications you will give the Surventis brand its voice, leading a global team of communications specialists while staying hands‑on in strategy development, advisory, and critical communications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop global specialists for Media Relations and Internal & Change Communications, owning team performance and development.
• Develop and implement communication strategies, plans and content that support business priorities.
• Guide the Surface Treatment Communications Lead in shaping and rolling out communications globally.
• Create, review and publish high‑quality internal and external communications across multiple channels.
• Define media relations strategies, identify relevant stories and shape media engagement.
• Drive internal and change communications, act as a trusted sparring partner for leaders.
• Serve as spokesperson in crisis situations and coordinate One Voice statements.

Required profile

• Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field.
• Several years of experience in internal and external communications in an international corporate environment, including change, transformation and restructuring communications.
• Ability to translate corporate strategy into compelling narratives and clear messages.
• Strong advisory skills and proven experience working with leaders and stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience leading international teams and managing complex, cross‑functional projects.
• Excellent German and English language skills.
