Team Lead IT Ops

About the role

Emma – The Sleep Company is seeking a people‑driven leader to head its IT Operations team. You will manage a diverse group of around ten IT professionals across several global sites, guiding their growth while shaping the company’s IT strategy worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a multi‑site team of IT Systems Engineers, conducting regular 1:1s and driving performance.
• Own hiring, onboarding and foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Manage the Office 365 and Azure environment, including Microsoft Entra identity services, ensuring security, scalability and cost efficiency.
• Define and execute the device and endpoint management strategy, standardising Windows and macOS deployment via Intune.
• Oversee asset lifecycle management in partnership with Procurement.
• Define the IT Operations roadmap, align it with business priorities and lead cross‑functional infrastructure and automation projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a team‑lead or people‑management role within IT Operations.
• Strong hands‑on background with Azure, Microsoft Entra and Intune, capable of both leading and executing.
• Proven track record of delivering technical projects end‑to‑end across cross‑functional teams.
• Solid scripting and automation skills, preferably PowerShell.
