Team Lead Maintenance – Kobern-Gondorf (near Koblenz/Mainz/Bonn)

About the role

Amazon is seeking a Team Lead Maintenance for its logistics site in Kobern-Gondorf, Germany. The role oversees a rotating three‑shift team, ensuring equipment reliability and uptime across the facility. You will drive continuous improvement, support technicians, and act as the primary contact for Reliability Maintenance Engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a shift team, ensuring safe equipment usage and adherence to processes.
• Monitor equipment performance through visual checks, condition‑based monitoring, and preventative maintenance.
• Schedule and supervise additional servicing when required.
• Supervise and develop technicians, serving as the first point of contact for engineering support.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain high package‑processing speed.
• Identify and implement improvements to standardise processes across the EU network.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading maintenance teams in a logistics or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of equipment reliability and safety standards.
• Ability to work rotating three‑shift schedules, including nights, weekends and on‑call duty.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with engineers and operators.
