Technical Customer Success Manager (German & English)

About the role

Skyhigh Security, a cloud-based data security company, is looking for a bilingual German/English speaking Technical Customer Success Manager working remotely. You will own the relationship with key customers and act as their technical point of contact, guiding them in using the product after deployment and helping them optimize their security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the customer relationship and keep Skyhigh seen as a key technology partner in the account
• Work with customers to understand their business goals and use cases, and tailor adoption plans
• Review the effectiveness and adoption of the deployed solution and give advisory guidance on best practices, optimization and configuration
• Monitor deployments proactively, escalate critical issues and work with support engineers and escalation teams
• Run operational governance meetings and strategic sessions with customer C-level, and deliver QBRs and value plans
• Deliver best-practice workshops and training on key features and use cases
• Identify opportunities for growth with Sales and Solution Engineering, and share customer needs with Product and Engineering
• Keep customers informed about releases, updates and upgrades

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken German and English
• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (technical support, technical account manager, consultant, solution architect, sales engineer, IT, MSP or similar) in large enterprises
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and influence deeply technical customers
• Self-motivated, with strong communication, presentation and documentation skills

Required skills

• Good understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP suite and network security (firewalls, proxy, VPN, SIEM)
• Application layer protocols (HTTP/HTTPS/SSL), PKI, SSO-SAML and networking concepts
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Desired but not required: knowledge of cloud platforms such as Office 365, Salesforce, Azure, AWS and GCP.
