Testability Engineer – Eurodrone (d/f/m)

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space seeks a Testability Engineer for the Eurodrone programme. The role focuses on designing systems that enable rapid fault detection, isolation and verification through sensors, interfaces and Built‑In Test Equipment (BITE) to minimise MTTR and diagnostic costs.

Key responsibilities

• Support design offices by evaluating technical alternatives and conducting formal trade‑off studies.
• Verify that designs meet the Testability target specification and allocated requirements.
• Perform cross‑checks with impacted stakeholders and produce BIT concept documentation.
• Attend design reviews with internal teams and customers, representing the Testability discipline.
• Maintain Testability data in logistics databases and prepare related procedures, guidelines and technical reports.
• Provide support to Customer Services areas such as ILS, Technical Publications and Materiel Services.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of Integrated Product Support (IPS/ILS) processes and procedures.
• Structured, analytical mindset with strong technical understanding.
• Proactive, independent and team‑oriented attitude, willing to travel domestically and internationally.
• Fluency in German and English.
