Transfer Pricing Manager

About the role

Springer Nature is seeking an experienced Transfer Pricing professional to lead transfer pricing activities for its Education segment. Based in Berlin, this hybrid position reports directly to the Global Head of Transfer Pricing and works closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Own transfer pricing matters for the Education segment, ensuring alignment with the group’s global TP framework.
• Design, implement and continuously improve transfer pricing policies and structures, especially for digital and platform‑based models.
• Lead the preparation, review and optimisation of transfer pricing documentation in line with OECD guidelines and local requirements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business units, Finance and senior management, providing insights that combine financial acumen and business understanding.
• Collaborate with the global transfer pricing team on strategic initiatives and support continuous enhancement of processes and governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in transfer pricing, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to translate complex tax concepts into business‑relevant advice.
• In‑depth knowledge of OECD transfer pricing guidelines and local tax regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• University degree in Finance, Economics, Law or a related field.
