Transport Coordinator / Forwarding Agent (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Transport Coordinator / Forwarding Agent to manage and optimise the movement of goods for our Frankfurt hub. In this role you will act as the main link between clients, carriers and internal teams, ensuring shipments are executed on time and in full compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to meet delivery schedules.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers and transport providers to arrange pick‑ups and deliveries.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents such as bills of lading and customs paperwork.
• Monitor shipment progress, identify delays and implement corrective actions.
• Negotiate rates and service contracts with carriers to achieve cost efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or freight forwarding.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Detail‑oriented problem‑solver.
• Proactive attitude and customer‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with logistics management software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
