Transport Project Manager for National & International Transports

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space seeks a Transport Project Manager to lead national and international military transport projects. You will ensure high‑tech assets are moved safely, legally, and on schedule while supporting a global logistics network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive concepts for national and international military transports, guaranteeing full legal and safety compliance.
• Lead end‑to‑end transport projects from tender to delivery, balancing time, cost, and quality.
• Navigate export control, military regulations, and international trade laws for cross‑border movements.
• Conduct risk analyses, create safety concepts, and manage project budgets with strict cost control.
• Collaborate with internal departments, government authorities, and external partners, providing regular status reports to senior management.
• Identify process synergies and drive continuous improvement across the logistics chain.

Required profile

• Completed degree in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of project‑management experience in transport and logistics, preferably with a military focus.
