Treasury Back Office Officer – Reporting (Hybrid, Germany)

About the role

Join BASF's Regional Treasury EMEA team as a Treasury Back Office Officer focused on reporting. You will work in a hybrid setting, supporting corporate finance activities and ensuring accurate regulatory reporting to European central banks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare periodic AWV reports for the Deutsche Bundesbank, Banque de France and other EU central banks.
• Act as the primary contact for central banks, handling registrations and technical set‑up in reporting platforms.
• Respond to enquiries, perform quality control and support group companies during audits.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of reporting processes.
• Collaborate with purchasing, sales and accounting interfaces to ensure seamless data flow.

Required profile

• Commercial business training or a degree in Business Administration.
• Basic knowledge of cash management, treasury or corporate finance.
• Organised, self‑reliant and solution‑oriented work style.
• Good communication skills in English; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficient user of MS365.
• Knowledge of AWV reporting (advantageous).
• Familiarity with SAP FI (advantageous).
• Technical affinity and enthusiasm for digitalisation tools.
