Venture Studio Investor & Builder

About the role

We are seeking a Venture Studio Investor & Builder to join Merantix Capital’s investment team. In this role you will identify, attract and invest in early‑stage AI founders, working closely with venture‑studio teams to turn nascent ideas into investable AI companies.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing exceptional AI founder talent and venture opportunities across Europe.
• Developing original investment themes and company‑building theses based on market research and portfolio insights.
• Working hands‑on with venture‑studio founders as a strategic sparring partner to validate ideas, define market fit and shape product direction.
• Transforming promising concepts into fundable AI ventures by challenging problem definition, commercial validation and roadmap.
• Leveraging the Merantix ecosystem for co‑founder matching, AI engineering talent, first‑customer introductions and investor connections.
• Positioning Merantix Capital as the leading AI venture‑studio platform in Europe.

Required profile

• Multiple years of experience building AI/ML products as a technical founder, early engineer or senior ML/Product lead in an AI‑first startup.
• Deep expertise in machine learning, including model training and production deployment.
• Hands‑on experience taking products from zero‑to‑one, including customer discovery and market validation.
