VP – Head of Toronto

About the role

Dedale Intelligence is expanding its presence in North America and is looking for a senior leader to launch and grow the Toronto office. You will be responsible for building the local team, establishing the subsidiary, and driving commercial activity across Canada and the broader North American market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead research on software and technology companies and market segments.
• Build, grow and coach a team of analysts and associates, scaling up to ten researchers.
• Collaborate with the Paris headquarters team of ex‑Tier 1 consultants to deliver high‑quality deliverables for multi‑million euro investments.
• Communicate directly with high‑profile clients such as fund managing partners, billionaire entrepreneurs, and family office managers.
• Open and manage the Toronto office, recruiting locally and embedding Dedale’s culture.
• Own client relationships in the Toronto market, building trusted rapport with PE partners, M&A directors, and C‑suite leaders.
• Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities and design account‑level growth strategies.

Required profile

• 5–7+ years of experience in top‑tier management consulting.
• Strong operational leadership track record, preferably in Germany.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with hands‑on experience leading business growth or market expansion.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Solid understanding of business strategy, digital transformation, and the B2B software landscape.
• Proven ability to build high‑performing teams from the ground up.
• Fluent in German and English.
