Wind Turbine Technician

About the role

Join a dedicated offshore service team to climb and service utility‑scale wind turbines. You will perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and ensure the reliability of turbine components while working at heights over open water.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct gearbox inspections, blade pitch calibration, yaw drive lubrication, and hydraulic brake maintenance.
• Troubleshoot pitch and converter faults from the nacelle and replace worn slip rings and filters.
• Document all work orders in the asset management system.
• Respond to SCADA‑generated alarms and coordinate lifts and isolations with the control room.
• Secure torque foundation bolts to specification and perform unplanned call‑outs.

Required profile

• GWO Working at Heights and Sea Survival certification.
• Proven rope‑access proficiency and offshore medical clearance.
• Comfortable working 90 m above water in changing weather conditions.
• Willingness to work two‑week rotations from a service operations vessel.
