Working Student – Application Developer

About the role

Join SAP as a Working Student in our Scrum team, supporting the development of financial solutions for S/4HANA Public Cloud. You will work side‑by‑side with experienced developers, gaining hands‑on experience in modern SAP technologies while contributing to real product features.

Key responsibilities

• Implement new SAPUI5 applications and OData v4 APIs based on the product backlog.
• Refactor and enhance existing solutions using ABAP, JavaScript and Core Data Services (CDS) modelling.
• Apply agile development principles and collaborate in daily Scrum activities.
• Analyse, troubleshoot and improve software issues, communicating with internal and external customers.
• Build deep functional and business knowledge of the financial overhead‑cost domain.

Required profile

• Enrolled university student (Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science or related).
• Logical, analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent English (minimum B2 level).
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Java or JavaScript).
• Willingness to work onsite in Walldorf or St. Leon‑Riot at least once a week.
