Working Student – Data Engineer (m/f/d)

About the role

We are a growth‑focused media agency in Berlin looking for a Working Student in Data Engineering. You will support real‑world data pipelines, automation and AI‑driven solutions while gaining hands‑on experience across engineering, operations and marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support ingestion, transformation and maintenance of data pipelines.
• Automate and improve internal workflows and operational processes.
• Contribute to AI‑powered solutions, including coding agents and simple agentic workflows.
• Assist with testing, deployment and monitoring of new features and systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and marketing to turn business needs into practical solutions.
• Monitor existing data and automation processes and help resolve issues.
• Create clear technical documentation and support knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering or a related degree.
• Solid foundation in Python through coursework, personal projects or prior experience.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with databases.
• Understanding of data pipelines and API integration.
• Familiarity with version control using Git.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and a proactive learning mindset.
