Working Student – Field Trials

About the role

Join BASF’s interdisciplinary digital farming team as a Working Student in Field Trials. You will gain hands‑on experience in agricultural testing while supporting the planning, execution, and documentation of field trials across Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in operational planning, preparation and execution of field trials.
• Set up, dismantle and maintain mobile weather stations on agricultural sites.
• Document trial activities and contribute to comprehensive trial reports.
• Maintain trial fields and ensure smooth operation of technical equipment.
• Coordinate logistics and transport of mobile weather stations, liaising with farmers, project staff and IT specialists.

Required profile

• Enrolled student in agricultural sciences or a comparable field.
• Sound experience in agricultural testing.
• Competent handling of standard IT applications (Microsoft Office, Windows OS).
• Driving licence class B.
• Strong communication skills in German and English.
• Basic experience in transportation management.
• Non‑EEA candidates must provide a residence/work permit and related documentation.
