Working Student IT Support

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Working Student to join our IT team and provide on‑site technical support across our office locations. This part‑time role is ideal for a computer‑science student who wants hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving media environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support onboarding and off‑boarding processes, preparing and configuring laptops, phones and other equipment.
• Set up and maintain workstations, meeting rooms and local office events.
• Provide first‑level on‑site assistance, troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues.
• Update and manage IT asset records and related documentation.
• Coordinate with the central IT team and Office Management on operational tasks.
• Escalate complex technical problems to the appropriate specialist teams.

Required profile

• Enrolled Bachelor’s or Master’s student in Computer Science, IT or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong customer‑service mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, organise tasks and take a proactive, hands‑on approach.
• Fluent English (mandatory); German at B1 level or higher.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Windows, iOS and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with hardware setup and basic IT troubleshooting.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Exchange and Power Apps.
