Working Student – Mechatronics Assembly Technician (20 hrs)

About the role

As a Working Student – Mechatronics Assembly Technician you will assemble advanced sensor boxes that combine electronics, mechanics and communication hardware for demanding field environments.

Key responsibilities

• Assembly Mastery – Build robust sensor boxes, applying best‑practice methods for long‑term stability.
• Quality Assurance – Implement and document quality checks to meet functional and mechanical standards.
• Prototyping & CAD Support – Assist with mechanical prototypes using CAD, 3D printing and basic CNC machining.
• Future Growth – Prepare to coordinate external assembly work with suppliers and support scaling production.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with mechanical or hardware assembly, focusing on durability and precision.
• Basic experience with CAD modeling (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA or similar).
• Practical skills in prototyping, including 3D printing, laser cutting or CNC machining.
• Understanding of sensor systems, communication equipment or embedded electronics is a plus.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills for a fast‑moving hardware environment.
