Workspace & Culture Manager – Food Tech Startup

About the role

Planet A Foods is reshaping the food‑ingredients industry with sustainable, cocoa‑free chocolate and other innovative products. As the Workspace & Culture Manager you will be the operational and cultural heartbeat of our Munich/Planegg site, ensuring a vibrant, collaborative environment for a growing team of about 75 employees across Germany and the Czech Republic.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily office operations for the Planegg location, managing vendors, supplies, seating plans and spatial layouts.
• Design and run cross‑location cultural initiatives, including major events (e.g., Summer Party) and regular engagement formats such as Focus Days.
• Coordinate company‑wide rituals like Townhalls, All‑Hands and OKR updates to keep the organization aligned.
• Support People‑team processes by handling onboarding logistics, employee merchandise, and preparatory accounting for benefits.
• Bridge IT and process automation by managing hardware assets for new hires and introducing digital tools to reduce manual admin work.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience independently managing office space or supporting HR operations, preferably in a fast‑paced startup or scale‑up.
• Proven ability to act as a cultural bridge between teams in different countries, tailoring initiatives to each location while fostering a unified culture.
• Strong organizational mindset combined with creative thinking for workplace events and culture programs.
• Cost‑conscious decision‑making with a focus on scalable, strategic solutions.

Required skills

• Experience with office facilities management and vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with HR onboarding processes and employee benefit administration.
• Basic knowledge of IT asset management and digital workflow tools.
