Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Relocation to Canada

About the role

Airbus Helicopters Canada is seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join its Fort Erie facility. The role involves assembling, testing, and delivering helicopters that serve a wide range of Canadian customers, from law enforcement to oil‑and‑gas operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install aircraft options and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) kits according to work orders, manuals and technical drawings.
• Assemble and disassemble aircraft components to support completions and painting processes.
• Perform inspections, document defects and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct functional checks of fuel, engine and fluid systems to ensure flight readiness.
• Execute ground runs, flight tests and rotor‑track and balance procedures.
• Verify performance parameters and ensure compliance with Transport Canada and company standards.
• Support quality‑assurance activities and maintain accurate documentation, work orders and time tracking.
• Mentor Aircraft Maintenance Engineer apprentices and act as team lead when required.

Required profile

• Completion of a Transport Canada‑approved Aircraft Maintenance program.
• Valid Transport Canada aircraft maintenance licence (or eligibility).
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Fort Erie, Ontario.
