Backend Developer (m/f) – Stuttgart

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Developer (m/f) to join our technology team in Stuttgart. You will work on our e‑commerce platforms for windows and doors, delivering robust and scalable software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, optimise and maintain backend applications using modern technologies.
• Ensure software performance under load and maintainability.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from research and design to deployment.
• Collaborate in an agile environment with cross‑functional teams.
• Propose and implement improvements to enhance the codebase.
• Share knowledge and mentor colleagues.

Required profile

• Several years of professional PHP development experience, preferably with Symfony.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, MySQL, Redis, RabbitMQ and PHPUnit.
• Experience with Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, Rancher, GoCD and Harbor.
• Solid problem‑solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Good communication skills, fluent in English (German a plus).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
