Business Development Manager – Aerospace & Key Accounts

About the role
FOGALE Sensors and Texys are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the aerospace, automotive, defense and medical sectors across Germany and Eastern Europe. Reporting to the Country Manager, you will own the client portfolio and lead the acquisition and expansion of key accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new industrial customers, focusing on aerospace and high‑performance environments.
- Conduct market analyses and prospect research to uncover early opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering and innovation teams to design profitable sales proposals.
- Lead negotiations through to contract signing, adhering to company guidelines.
- Provide commercial, technical and needs‑based consulting to prospects and existing clients.
- Build and maintain a network of specifiers, agents and distributors to generate business pipelines.
- Report activity and results to senior management.
Required profile
- Higher technical education with extensive B2B experience selling technical solutions, preferably in electronics.
- Proven track record in long‑cycle sales to demanding industrial customers.
- Strong relationships with R&D departments, test centres and other technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and cross‑functionally with R&D, engineering and pre‑sales teams.
- Excellent curiosity, interpersonal skills and tenacity in an international environment.
