About the role
The Business Development Manager will drive local partnerships with merchandise partners, manufacturers, and brands, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and delivering value for both the business and its customers. You will guide partners through onboarding, market positioning, and operational strategies while supporting the execution of category selections.
Key responsibilities
- Support the execution of effective local partnerships with merchandise partners, manufacturers, and brands.
- Implement category selections to increase overall business and customer value.
- Guide assigned merchandise partners through the platform onboarding process.
- Communicate plans and guidelines on market positioning, product planning, brand marketing, and operations.
- Gather and analyse category performance data, providing feedback and suggestions.
- Assist in project implementation through resource coordination and merchant guidance.
- Conduct industry analysis to identify potential customer needs and adjust tactics based on market trends.
Required profile
- At least 3 years of operational experience, preferably in brand management or platform operations.
- Strong network of local sellers and vendors is a plus.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities, self‑motivation, and strategic thinking.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage logistics during high‑demand periods.
