Business Development Manager – Licensing (Remote, Germany)

About the role
We are a rapidly growing biotechnology company seeking a Business Development Manager to lead our global licensing and partnering activities. Based remotely in Germany, you will work at the intersection of science and commercial strategy to advance our differentiated biologic assets.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and execute external partnering opportunities, including out‑licensing and co‑development deals.
- Build and present robust business cases with clear assumptions, risks, and strategic rationale.
- Lead cross‑functional due diligence across scientific, technical, clinical, regulatory, and commercial teams.
- Drive transactions from early engagement through negotiation, deal closure, and alliance management.
- Act as the primary BD contact for selected opportunities and represent the company at international conferences.
Required profile
- PhD in a relevant life‑sciences discipline.
- Strong experience in biologics drug discovery and development.
- Ability to interpret complex pre‑clinical data and position assets strategically.
- Understanding of advanced biologic modalities and partner pipeline needs.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin.
