Canva Specialist – Remote Contractor

About the role

We are looking for a remote Canva Specialist to support AI training initiatives. In this contractor position you will use your hands‑on Canva experience to create and manage design assets that feed into next‑generation creative AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Create, edit, and organize a variety of design assets in Canva for AI training purposes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure brand‑consistent deliverables.
• Document design decisions and processes to aid data annotation and AI model training.
• Provide feedback on Canva workflows and suggest usability improvements.
• Maintain version‑controlled repositories of all creative materials.
• Communicate project updates clearly through written and verbal channels.
• Participate in regular virtual meetings and contribute to process‑improvement discussions.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience using Canva at a user level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow guidelines precisely while exercising creativity within set parameters.
• Familiarity with collaborative online tools and remote‑working best practices.
• Strong organizational skills for managing digital assets.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and comfortable working independently.
