About the role
We are seeking a Capture Manager to lead and coordinate capture efforts for complex defense opportunities across Europe and NATO‑aligned markets. You will shape win strategies, guide pursuits through structured processes, and work closely with engineering, operations, finance, and senior leadership to develop compelling proposals.
Key responsibilities
- Lead capture activities for European and NATO‑aligned defense opportunities, defining requirements and win strategies.
- Develop and execute comprehensive capture plans in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
- Qualify opportunities, build pipeline, and track capture activities in business systems.
- Conduct competitive intelligence, market assessments, and competitor analysis.
- Define win themes, value propositions, and differentiators aligned with customer missions and procurement frameworks.
- Support bid and proposal development, ensuring integration of capture strategy, pricing assumptions, and customer insights.
- Plan and execute customer engagement strategies with ministries of defense, NATO bodies, and strategic partners.
- Manage participation in defense trade shows and industry events.
- Contribute to marketing, communications, and brand positioning within European defense markets.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in capture management, business development, or defense contracting.
- Proven track record leading capture efforts for government or defense procurement programs, including RFI/RFP processes.
- Strong understanding of European and NATO procurement frameworks (e.g., NSPA, NCIA, national ministries of defense).
