Chief Technology Officer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer to lead the evolution of our AI‑driven industrial trade platform. You will inherit a live product, a 20‑person engineering team, and an existing AI architecture that must become more defensible, scalable, and self‑improving.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a modular, event‑driven multi‑agent framework for autonomous commercial decision‑making across pricing, procurement, logistics, and financing.
• Transition the current workflow‑automation layer into stateful, tool‑augmented agents that reason over real‑time market data, inventory, credit exposure, and logistics constraints.
• Establish feedback loops and shared memory mechanisms to coordinate agents and ensure reliable execution without human handoff.
• Guide the engineering organization through rapid growth, maintaining high standards of code quality, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with product, data, and business teams to align AI capabilities with marketplace strategy.

Required profile

• Proven track record building production‑grade AI systems, not just feature‑level prototypes.
• Deep architectural intuition and experience scaling complex, event‑driven platforms.
• Leadership experience managing engineering teams of 10+ members in high‑growth environments.
• Understanding of marketplace dynamics and the strategic value of decision‑engine moats.
