Customer Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Maintenance Manager to lead the Maintenance organisation for a key client in Germany. The role is based in Dusseldorf on a 1‑year contract and involves close collaboration with Account, Service and Solution teams to ensure contractual commitments are met.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and manage Maintenance processes aligned with customer operations and contract requirements.
• Direct all Maintenance activities, ensuring schedules, quality standards and SLA compliance.
• Build and lead the Maintenance team, establishing office, tools and staffing according to needs.
• Prepare high‑level Maintenance plans, monitor deliverables and take corrective actions.
• Maintain team morale, evaluate performance and align capabilities with objectives.
• Provide regular reporting on open tickets, root‑cause analyses and KPI/SLA achievement.
• Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues and represent the organisation in review meetings.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Telecoms, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience managing Maintenance or Operations teams in a telecom environment.
• Strong understanding of contract deliverables, SLA management and cost control.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with customers and internal stakeholders.
