Data Engineering Team Leader (m/f/d)

About the role

AllCloud is seeking a hands‑on Data Engineering Team Leader to design, build, and scale cloud‑native data and AI platforms on AWS. You will lead a small team of data engineers, work directly with customers and internal stakeholders, and drive end‑to‑end delivery of modern data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of 3–4 data engineers.
• Act as a technical leader across multiple Data & AI initiatives.
• Design, build and scale cloud‑native data platforms and AI systems on AWS.
• Develop and maintain large‑scale ETL/ELT pipelines, streaming systems, APIs and analytics platforms.
• Implement modern AI and GenAI solutions, including intelligent agents, RAG systems and ML integrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, product managers and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Participate in technical planning, architecture discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting and production support.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, observability and security of production environments.
• Drive engineering best practices such as CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, testing, monitoring and operational excellence.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience leading engineering or data‑engineering teams.
• 7+ years of hands‑on experience in data engineering, backend engineering or cloud architecture.
• Strong ability to mentor technical teams and communicate effectively with customers.
• Proven track record of delivering scalable data and AI solutions on AWS.
