Director, Policy Development

About the role

Wolt is seeking a seasoned policy professional to lead the development of regulatory and legislative strategies for its European and Middle‑Eastern operations, as well as for Deliveroo. The Director, Policy Development will shape the legal framework for a fast‑growing sector, translating complex proposals into clear business actions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive regulatory analysis of high‑impact legislative proposals across Europe and the Middle East.
• Translate complex law‑making processes into actionable business, operational, and commercial recommendations for senior leadership.
• Partner with the Public Affairs team to map the political landscape and advance policy priorities.
• Develop and refine policy positions in collaboration with cross‑functional business teams.
• Provide strategic input on policy priorities and support the adoption of policies that benefit couriers, merchants, and consumers.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in policy development, legislative analysis, or related regulatory roles.
• Proven ability to work across multiple regions and cultures.
• Strong communication skills for presenting complex legal concepts to senior stakeholders.
• Track record of influencing policy outcomes in dynamic environments.
