Finance & Accounting Manager – Germany

About the role

Metz Electronics Srl, the Italian subsidiary of Skyworth Group, is seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager to lead the finance function for its German entity. The role combines day‑to‑day accounting, tax compliance, budgeting, treasury and cross‑functional coordination with the broader European business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, month‑end and year‑end closings, and prepare financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) and group policies.
• Oversee local tax filings (VAT, corporate income tax, trade tax), coordinate with external advisors and auditors, and ensure compliance with German regulations.
• Participate in annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and provide financial analysis on sales, inventory, expenses and cash flow.
• Handle daily treasury activities, payment reviews, cash‑flow forecasting, credit risk management and customer payment term control.
• Collaborate with sales, supply chain, logistics and headquarters finance teams; support SAP/ERP optimisation and finance‑related projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Economics or related fields.
• German accounting or tax qualification (e.g., Steuerfachwirt, Bilanzbuchhalter, CPA) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of finance experience in Germany with solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB), VAT and tax regulations.
• Experience working with tax advisory firms and external auditors.
• Fluency in German and English.
