Financial Analyst – Finance & Business Analysis

About the role

Abbott is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its finance team at the German headquarters in Wiesbaden. The role supports financial planning, reporting and analysis across multiple business areas, contributing to data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Balance sheet forecasting and actuals reporting, including detailed inventory reporting.
• Headcount reporting and capital & project expense monitoring, with DCF calculations.
• Monthly freight accruals and freight reporting to support affiliates.
• Distressed inventory analysis.
• Preparation and review of monthly cost‑center (P&L) reports.
• KPI reporting and ad‑hoc analysis as required.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in financial or business analysis.
• Master’s (preferred) or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Accounting.
• Strong ability to meet critical deadlines and manage a diverse workload.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical, quantitative and investigative skills.
• Independent, structured and solution‑oriented working style with high operational readiness.
• Fluent English; good German language skills are a plus.
